Senses

Let's feel it

Sight

Every painting begins with a vision, but not always a clear one. My eyes guide me, not to perfection, but to possibilities.

Touch

Art lives in texture. My hands connect with the piece, whether through brushes, rolls, spatulas, or bare fingers.

Smell

The sharp tang of acrylics, the earthy scent of gesso, and the strong aroma of spray paint—these smells ground me in the process.

Hearing

Every piece has its rhythm. The scratch of a spatula on a backdrop, the spray of paint releasing its pressure, or the silence that fills the studio as I step back to reflect. Art is as much about listening as it is about creating.

Taste

I love layering ingredients, and guessing when to add or when to stop. There’s a savoring of the process, a fulfillment in seeing it all baked together.
