I approached this piece by leaning into the tension between neutral tones and unexpected vibrancy. The colors feel quiet at first, but the more I layered and dragged the paint with brushes and rollers, the more the surface pushed back with its own energy.
I didn’t want a polished look; I wanted something that felt intentional but not overly controlled. The shapes settle into place without pretending to be perfect, and the textures hold the small imperfections that emerge when you let the process lead. For me, this piece is about how muted colors can still pulse when you give them space to breathe.

Imaginé esta pieza desde la tensión de tonos neutros y momentos de vibración inesperados. Los colores se sentían tranquilos, pero a medida que fui superponiendo capas y arrastrando la pintura con brochas y rodillos, la superficie empezó a responder con su propia energía.
No busqué un acabado pulido; quería algo comprensible, pero sin caer en la rigidez. Todo encuentra su lugar sin reclamar perfección, y las texturas conservan esas pequeñas impurezas que surgen cuando permites que el proceso tome el control.
